Lost Bear Co is intended for users 18 years or older. While our services may be accessible to individuals under 18, we do not knowingly market or provide services to minors without parental consent.
To use certain features of Lost Bear Co, users must create an account, providing a name, email, and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Lost Bear Co offers proactive lost and found support, including but not limited to:
- Digital item tagging
- Resale marketplace monitoring
- Local venue outreach
- A user-triggered return reward system, with Lost Bear Co retaining a 20% commission on successful reward payments
We integrate with third-party services such as Google Maps, Stripe, Memberstack, Webflow, and Make.com to deliver our services.
You agree that:
- All information submitted about lost or found items is truthful and accurate
- You will not list or seek anything illegal, stolen (unless reporting as stolen), or dangerous
- You will not post content or use our platform in any way that is abusive, fraudulent, or misleading
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or deny access for violations of these rules.
We only collect personal information you explicitly provide, including your name, email, and item-related details. Location data is collected only when submitted with reports.
User submissions are private by default, unless you choose to share them publicly on our lost & found map.

Lost Bear Co may charge for item tagging, venue outreach, and reward recovery coordination.
- When rewards are successfully paid, we retain 20% as a service fee
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Refunds are offered for specific services, excluding shipping or transaction fees
We operate as a matching service, not a guaranteed recovery platform. While we take steps to validate claims, responsibility lies with the users to:
- Accurately describe lost/found items
- Vet the legitimacy of potential matches
We will not facilitate a match unless there is sufficient evidence that both parties are referencing the same item.
We cannot guarantee that lost items will be found or returned. We do not assume liability for:
- Mismatches
- False claims
- Unsuccessful recovery attempts
- Any resulting loss, damage, or legal claim
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or misuse of the platform.
All content and tools on Lost Bear Co are the intellectual property of Calfpress Ltd, unless otherwise stated. Users may not reproduce, sell, or exploit any portion of the service without permission.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
